Little Things Can Help So Much
Hello. Let’s explore little things that help authors.
Maybe you don’t have the funds to purchase books, but you still want to help authors. What can you do?
- Like and comment on their social media posts. On some platforms, this simple act boosts visibility for an author. More importantly, it offers encouragement. Just knowing others appreciate our posts can make a big difference, giving us motivation to continue.
- Read sample chapters and talk them up. Most authors have samples available for their books. If you can’t purchase and review, you can still post about sample chapters if the sample is enjoyable.
- Vote for your favorite authors. So many authors use contests to gain visibility, and sometimes it can make a huge difference to an indie author. It only takes a few minutes to cast a vote on most sites.
Speaking of awards, my cover for Broken Parallels is in a contest.
They say not to judge a book by its cover but I need you to do just that. If you liked the cover of my book, Broken Parallels, please vote for it for the Cover of the Month contest on AllAuthor.com!
I’m getting closer to clinch the “Cover of the Month” contest on AllAuthor! I’d need as much support from you guys. Please take a moment to vote for my book cover here (click image to vote):
